Mrs. Roosa's Brother Visits

I just got back from a business trip to Malaysia and thought it would be the subject of the next post.  However, Danielle's brother Adam just arrived for the long weekend (Monday is the Queen's birthday) and so he's a better subject at the moment.

Adam does a lot of work with the homeless and otherwise disadvantaged folk in Sydney and has come for a little break.  Debbie of course is spoiling him with home-cooked food and the cats have taken to him.  We've known Adam almost as long as we have known Danielle.  There is additional cause for celebration this weekend as apparently Adam's hard praying has resulted in my friend Roos just receiving a verdict in his favor in the long-simmering lawsuit over his mother's estate (our Alexandria and DC friends know all the gory details).  The less said about that the better, but suffice it to say that he won despite the Mississippi legal system's best efforts.

Today is the first day of of Adam's visit and I will add to this post as we go along.  However, you can see that he has already made himself at home.

A tall, dark stranger arrives in town.  With his laundry.  Just kidding.

Clearly, Debbie is happy to see Adam.

Debbie and Adam explore Lake Burley-Griffin
from the comfort of the bar at the Southern Cross Yacht Club.

Adam settles in for a long winter's night.
We offered him a bed but he seemed to like this chair better.

Here's Adam up close and personal.
He likes long walks on the beach, romantic evenings by candlelight,
and small furry animals and children.

And, he's single, ladies.  Call for details.

  1. I'm calling for details on the single man staying at your house. All I need to know is how old? The rest looks and sounds great! Love that he likes to help the homeless and disadvantaged.

  2. He's a long way away, but he's a lot of fun...
