Further Magpie Proof

He has now expanded his interests to cashews...that's the dry catfood next to him there.  You can tell he's a male because of the bright white patch on his neck; the females have a mottled grey/white patch.  And a little handbag.

And in a return visit 20 minutes later, he has further expanded to champagne (see split on right); we invited him to celebrate our purchase today (or at least the mortgage for) 2778 North Street in Clinton:

And here it all is in video.  See us for all your hungry Magpie needs...got to figure how to get this bird into the States...maybe cousin Jim Klein knows how - he's got lots of birds.

  1. The people who move in after you are in for a big surprise!

  2. So...the Magpie is just bait for Kismet to practice stalking/hunting skills? I want to be at Dulles when you try to convince TSA the bird is part of The Family!

  3. It also occurred to me that since the passing of Marlin Perkins in 1986 there has been a serious gap in the television lineup which you could fill! Though Mutual of Omaha still exists, "Vegemite Presents: Charles Ikins' Improbably Wild Kingdom" has a much nicer ring to it!

Did you know that Marlin was thrice bitten by venomous snakes? True: Timber Rattlesnake, Cottonmouth and Gaboon Viper!

You may want to shy away from the serpents and stick to birds. You clearly have a talent for wrangling and communicating with critters from the winged world.

Let me know if you need a producer. G'day, mate!
